|Couples planning their Wedding Photography, often ask the same questions. This page will answer some of those common questions, but if there is anything I have missed, please CONTACT me and I will be happy to answer any questions you may have.
|Q1. What areas do you cover for Wedding Photography?|
|A. I am based in Loughborough, Leicestershire, so I mainly cover the East Midlands, although I am willing to travel anywhere in the UK subject to travel expenses and accommodation.
|Q2. What is your "style" of Wedding Photography?|
|A. FUN, FUN and lots of it. I love to capture the emotion of day, natural and relaxed. I'm always on the lookout for those special moments that most people miss. I also take 'formal' pictures (e.g family groups) if you wish, though I aim to take these as quickly as possible so your guests can concentrate on on having fun instead of lining up for photos.
|Q3. Do you take any Black and White Photographs?|
|A. I most certainly do, as you can see on the, Galleries page. I learned my Photography with Black and White FILM many years ago and I love producing Black and White images. It's all a bit different now though, all images are captured in colour then converted to Black and White at the editing stage on the computer, though the same principles still apply.
|Q4. How long do you take to Photograph a Wedding?|
|A. I offer two packages, so for the 'GET ME TO CHURCH' Collection where there's only photography at the Church and Reception, about 4 hours usually covers it. Where as the 'LET'S DANCE' Collection, where there could be photography at the Brides house, the Church, the Reception and the night time party, I could probably still be going till 10pm.
|Q5. How many Photographs do you take?|
|A. Between 200 to 300 for the 'GET ME TO CHURCH' Collection and up to 500 to 600 for the 'LET'S DANCE' Collection. These will be edited to take out all the missed expressions, double takes etc, leaving you with only great pictures.
|Q6. Do you dress smart for Weddings?|
|A. Yes, suited and booted, it is a Wedding after all.
|Q7. How do we book you to photograph our Wedding, do you need a deposit?|
|A. If you want to book me, I will provide a simple contract that we all sign, I will come to your home to do this if you wish. There is also a deposit of £200 required at the time of booking, which is deducted from the full price.
|Q8. Do you offer discount for midweek Weddings?|
|A. Yes, we offer a discount on Wedding Photography from Monday to Thursday, except for Bank Holidays. Please contact us for more details.
|Q9. How long do We have to wait for our Wedding Photographs and Book?|
|A. I limit the amount of Weddings I Photograph each year so that I can dedicate lots of time to preparing your Wedding Photographs and Book. I always aim to have your Photographs ready within a week of your Wedding. If you are going on honeymoon, this means your Personal 'On Line Gallery' should be ready for you to share with friends and family on your return. Your Wedding Photography Book will be ready between 4-6 weeks after you have approved your final Book design.
|Q10. Do we get to meet before the Wedding?|
|A. It’s really important for you to choose a Wedding Photographer that you feel comfortable with, after all they will be there for most of your Wedding day! That’s why I offer an initial Wedding Photography consultation to couples who are interested in booking me. This is a good chance for us to talk about your Wedding, and to look through my sample Wedding Books. This consultation is a friendly chat with absolutely no obligation for you to book me.
If you book me to Photograph your Wedding then we’ll have another pre-Wedding meeting a couple of weeks before the big day just to finalise details e.g. timings, locations, Book type, formal Photograph requirements and the names of the key people on the day. Of course, you can contact me any time if you have any questions or queries about your Wedding Photography in the meantime.
